San Elijo Hills is being developed and managed by HomeFed Corporation, a Carlsbad-based company involved in all phases of development for large-scale, master-planned communities and major urban infill projects, such as The Harbor Club in Downtown San Diego.

The award-winning firm has extensive expertise in land planning and design, government entitlements, and infrastructure design and construction.

In addition to San Elijo Hills, the company is currently involved in the planning of a 3,000-acre portion of the Otay Ranch General Planning Area in Chula Vista. HomeFed Corporation also owns a 1,600-acre grape vineyard in southern Madera County.
