Most of us would like to live in a place where we can take a walk, meet the neighbors, shop on Main Street, yet not be isolated away from the "big city." That's the vision that has guided the development of San Elijo Hills. It borrows lessons from a variety of sources including a concept that urban planners call "Neo-Traditionalism". By designing the Towncenter and the surrounding neighborhoods to function as a traditional small town, and connecting all the neighborhoods with pedestrian accessibility, we have arrived at something that people really value - a balanced community.
