Stuffed Bell Peppers

Stuffed bell peppers are not only delicious, but extremely easy to make!

Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 6 bell peppers, tops and cores removed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice

How to Make

To get started, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Next, cook the rice by following the directions on the packaging. In a large frying pan, heat the extra-virgin olive oil on medium. Now it is time to add in the onion, followed by the garlic and tomato paste. Next, add the ground beef and cook until nicely browned. Drain the fat and then add the rice and diced tomatoes. Finish it off by adding salt, ground black pepper, and oregano. Line the peppers inside of a 13″ by 9″ baking dish and fill them with the “stuffed” part of the meal. After you have done all six, you can sprinkle your choice of cheese on top and cover the peppers with foil. Bake for 35 minutes, and then remove the foil. Cook for an additional 10 minutes without the covering. Let the peppers cool for a few minutes and then they are ready to serve!

Baked Ravioli

You can’t go wrong with baked ravioli! We guarantee your mouth will be watering just reading the ingredients!

Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 ½ lb. ground beef
  • 2 bags of cheese-filled ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp. basil leaves, chopped

How to Make

Prevent your oven to 350 degrees. Get out a 13″ by 9″ baking dish and spray it with non-stick cooking oil. Next, take a frying pan and cook the ground beef over medium heat until nicely browned. Once you drain the fat, you can add the marinara sauce and stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour about a cup of the ground beef and sauce mixture into the baking dish. Next, place the frozen ravioli on top of the spread, topping it with cheese. Add another layer of the sauce mixture, continuing the process until all of the ravioli and cheese is used (you will likely have about three layers). Once you are finished, cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. For the cheese to melt more we recommend uncovering the dish and leaving it in the oven for an extra five minutes. Sprinkle some basil leaves over the ravioli and dish up!
