Pacific Preschool & Kindergarten
Pacific Preschool and Kindergarten is located at 1301 Elfin Forest Road West in San Elijo Hills. They focus on providing a curriculum that emphasizes early child development and education. The early preschool program is for toddlers ages 18 months to 2.5 years old as well children who are about to turn 3. Preschool and pre-kindergarten is for children between 3-4 years old. To enroll as kindgarten, the child must be 5 years old by September 1st.
San Elijo Elementary School
San Elijo Elementary School is located at 1615 Schoolhouse Way. It first opened its doors in August 2006 and is proud to offer an education to over 1,000 students. It is the school’s mission for students to achieve their personal best all while challenging themselves academically and showing what it means to be responsible. The elementary school shares a campus with San Elijo Middle School.
Double Peak School
You’ll find Double Peak School off of San Elijo Road. It is a school that serves around 1,000 students, accommodating those in kindergarten through eighth grade. The curriculum is centered around music, art, and innovation.
San Elijo Middle School
San Elijo Middle school shares a 30-acre campus with San Elijo Elementary. It holds the honor of being a California Distinguished School for its high academic performance. It opened its doors to students in 2004 and has been giving students the opportunity to grow and thrive in a collaborative environment. The school offers many programs and activities for students to participate in.
Mission Hills High School
Nestled amongst the hills in San Marcos is Mission Hills High School. It is located at 1 Mission Hills Ct. The school opened in August 2004 with the goal of providing students with exceptional learning experiences. Over 2,500 students are enrolled at Mission Hills High School, where they focus on high achievement. It offers numerous programs for students to engage in.
California State San Marcos
Just a short 5-minute drive from San Elijo Hills is the campus of California State University San Marcos. The university offers students a quality education with 62 Bachelor’s degree programs, 15 master’s degree programs, an Ed.D. program, and teaching credentials in 13 different fields. Go Cougars!
